About Saboten Con
At this four day celebration of anime, you’ll find that the con scene rallies behind everything there is to do. For Saboten Con, the attendance swells to more than 7,000 fans in one place at one time.
But what’s on the con menu? Plenty! Hosted at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix, this is Arizona’s largest con and with tons to show for it. Taking it’s name from the Japanese word for cactus, this con is committed to being a distinct mix of Japanese culture and Arizona pride.
For the programming, there are tons of panels andn workshops. Whether you want to learn to monetize your cosplay or master script writing, this event has what you need. There’s also more than enough vendors to shop, and an incredible masquerade with all your friends.
Add in the Maid and Anime Cafes, the skit contest, cosplay contest, photo contest, and more… well, you can imagine how exciting this con can be. There’s even fashion and a hobby expo!
