About Wizard World Portland
In Portland, Wizard World is bringing you another class-A comic-centered event. And for this one, you’re going to find plenty to love. For the guest list, there’s a large range of big name celebrities and award-winning creators. On the TV side, you’ll get to talk to people like Dean Cain of Smallville. There’s also Nichelle Nichols from Star Trek. But the names don’t stop there. The Incredible Hulk, Power Rangers, CHiPs. When you arrive, you’ll get to meet them all! Plus, the list of Eisner Award Nominees is impressive. You’ll get to share ideas with artists and writers from Sandman, Grindhouse, and so many more.
At the same time, this event has planned all the Wizard World fun you know. There’s going to be a full schedule of panels and activities. Not only that, but you’ll also find gaming, exhibitors, and some of the best cosplay in the world. In fact, don’t forget to wear your own creative costumes. How should you get to Wizard World Portland and where should you stay?
The area is served by the Portland Streetcar system, and there are several stops surrounding the event. The closest is the NE ML King & Hoyt stop, served by the A Loop car. The MAX light rail also has a stop next to the center, Convention Center MAX Station. This stop is served by the MAX Blue, Green, and Red Lines.
For the public bus system, the number 6 bus also serves the NE ML King & Hoyt stop. For private car from US-30 and I-84, take the exit toward Convention Center/Rose Quarter. Merge onto NE 1st Ave and turn right onto NE Multnomah St. and then turn right onto NE 2nd Ave. Then turn left onto NE Holladay St.
