About San Diego Comic Fest
San Diego Comic Fest aspires to be the alternative to long lines and high-priced tickets as well as an over-crowded venue. With the Comic Fest Cafe, the event begins by creating a casual and intimate atmosphere where you can discuss the latest and greatest in comics while also discovering new ideas. From there, the event features a unique lineup of celebrities with guests of honor like Jim Valentino and Larry Houston. But the world beyond comics is also showcased as well, with pop culture names like Rob Salkowitz and Disney designers like Mike Royer. Connect with steampunk inventors like Anina Bennett and Paul Guinan or fact-based sci-fi fiction writers like Greg Bear. Yet, at the same time, international comic guests aren’t left out of this event: artists from Mexico City and beyond include Luis Fenando and Gaby Maya. The event doesn’t leave anyone out!
And at this comic con, nighttime really comes alive. San Diego Comic Fest is centered around great parties and get-togethers. Musical performers Digital Lizards of Doom, Vic Viper, and more guarantee that you’ll be able to dance the night away while hanging out and having fun with fellow fans. At the event’s panels, you’ll be able to take part in discussions on horror and sci-fi, fantasy and other imaginary worlds. Purchase your favorite toys, games, and books at the exhibitor hall and then stop by the gaming zone to play those tabletop or card games you truly love. Dress to impress and don’t forget to wear your best cosplay!
